Contracts Engineer (EPC) – Beirut, Lebanon

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will oversee the full lifecycle of EPC contracts for projects based in Beirut. You will ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and legal regulations while supporting negotiation and risk mitigation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, review, and manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Maintain thorough records and documentation for audits, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Manage variations, claims, and change orders, ensuring proper evaluation, documentation, and approvals.
• Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and project teams to align contract terms with operational and financial objectives.
• Stay updated on EPC contract laws, industry standards, and best practices.
• Provide regular reports on contract performance, risks, and compliance to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in contract administration within EPC, construction, or infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, EPC/EPCM agreements, subcontractor agreements, and procurement contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in the EPC sector.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with contract management software.
• Advanced use of the MS Office Suite.
