Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead all on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate contractors, subcontractors and site teams while maintaining compliance with contractual, technical and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise all construction activities on site.
• Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors and site personnel for efficient execution.
• Monitor progress against the approved schedule and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure works comply with specifications, drawings, quality standards and contracts.
• Promote and enforce health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) standards.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, planning, quality and HSE teams to resolve site issues.
• Manage site logistics, manpower, equipment and material utilisation.
• Monitor project costs and support budget‑control initiatives.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to minimise delays and cost impacts.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management and the client.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a Construction Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure, industrial or EPC projects.
• Familiarity with international construction standards, HSE regulations and FIDIC contracts (preferred).
• Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract administration and construction planning.
