Community Outreach Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Community Outreach Specialist to build and maintain relationships with local organizations, stakeholders, and community members, supporting our mission and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement outreach programs that align with our mission and address community needs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders.
• Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings.
• Create promotional materials and presentations to raise awareness of our work.
• Collect and analyse community feedback to improve programs and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with overall engagement goals.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in community outreach, social work, or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Comfortable with public speaking and representing the organization.
• Passion for supporting underserved populations and knowledge of community resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
