Clinical Application Product Specialist (Ophthalmology)

About the role

The Clinical Application Product Specialist will provide clinical, technical and product support for an ophthalmology product portfolio. You will ensure healthcare professionals are trained on product applications, support demonstrations, installations and post‑sales follow‑up, and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses and technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical and application training to ophthalmologists, surgeons, nurses and technicians.
• Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, wet labs and hands‑on training sessions.
• Support customers during initial product use, installations and clinical procedures.
• Provide post‑training follow‑up to ensure correct product utilization and address technical questions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Technical teams to launch new products and create training materials.
• Gather market feedback, monitor competitor offerings and report insights to management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and clinical reference sites.

Required profile

• Strong clinical knowledge of ophthalmology procedures and technologies.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical product features into practical clinical benefits.
• Proactive, customer‑focused attitude with strong relationship‑building capabilities.
