Claims Officer – Non-Life Insurance

About the role
The Claims Officer will support the non‑life insurance and reinsurance business by managing claims from notification through settlement, ensuring accuracy, timely coordination and high‑quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Review claim notifications, identify coverage and promptly inform reinsurers.
- Maintain comprehensive claims documentation and follow up with insurers on outstanding items.
- Communicate with clients and reinsurers to facilitate smooth settlement.
- Coordinate with Finance to collect cash‑calls and ensure timely payments.
- Enter claim data accurately into the system and issue closing entries for the assigned territory.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance or a related field.
- Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) certification preferred.
- Awareness of insurance/reinsurance products and practices.
- 0–2 years of experience in a similar claims role.
