Claims Officer – Insurance Claims Management

About the role

We are seeking a Claims Officer to join Chedid Re, a leading insurance and reinsurance investment group. The successful candidate will support the efficient management of insurance claims across our global network, ensuring accuracy, timely coordination and high‑quality service throughout the claims lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Implement assigned activities with minimal supervision.
• Review claims reports and follow up with insurers to resolve outstanding claims promptly.
• Maintain and update claims documentation and records for accurate tracking.
• Obtain missing claims documentation from insurers to facilitate settlements.
• Verify placements upon loss notification to ensure compliance with policy terms.
• Prepare correspondence with insurers and reinsurers to request required information.
• Generate closing entries such as debit and credit notes for the designated territory.
• Enter claims data into the system for reference and reporting.
• Coordinate with Finance to collect cash‑call payments related to claims and ensure timely settlement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in claims handling or a similar discipline.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
