Cinematography Intern

About the role

This 12‑week, project‑based internship offers hands‑on experience in creating advertisements, social‑media videos, and promotional campaigns. You will work within a marketing team, participating in every stage of content production from concept to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in pre‑production tasks such as developing concepts, shot lists, storyboards, and production schedules.
• Research and select locations, props, wardrobe, and visual references.
• Contribute ideas for visual storytelling, campaign concepts, and filming styles.
• Operate cameras and mobile devices to capture professional‑quality footage for ads, interviews, B‑roll, and events.
• Support on‑set direction, managing cast schedules, positioning, and performance.
• Organize sets, equipment, and production logistics to ensure smooth shoots.
• Review footage on‑site to identify missing shots or technical issues.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos, handling sequencing, pacing, subtitles, graphics, music selection, and audio cleanup.
• Apply basic color correction and grading techniques to enhance visual quality.

Required profile

• Passionate about cinematography, advertising, visual storytelling, and social‑media content.
• Motivated, creative, and eager to develop practical production skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Able to collaborate with a team and follow direction during shoots.

Required skills

• Videography – camera operation with professional cameras and mobile devices.
• Video editing – assembling raw footage into final deliverables.
• Color correction and color grading.
• Basic understanding of pre‑production planning (storyboarding, shot lists).
