Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead Swan Re’s financial strategy and oversee all finance‑related functions across the Group. Reporting to the CEO and Board, the CFO will shape financial governance, drive growth initiatives and ensure robust risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Advise the CEO and Board on capital allocation, investments, and risk management.
• Lead M&A due diligence, negotiation, and execution, as well as divestments and strategic investments.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, treasury, reporting, credit control, tax and risk management functions.
• Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting process and monitor performance against targets.
• Ensure timely preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain banking relationships, financing facilities and liquidity requirements.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, regulatory standards and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• CFA or CPA (or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 6 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in corporate finance, treasury, investment analysis, risk management and M&A.
• Demonstrated ability to structure capital, lead financial governance and drive strategic initiatives.
