Chief Accountant

About the role

The Chief Accountant will lead the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and providing strategic financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, P&L and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Lebanese, KSA, UAE, French and other relevant regulations, maintaining internal controls and performing reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly and year‑end closings, prepare financial statements under GAAP, IFRS and local standards.
• Coordinate audits, liaise with external auditors and address audit findings.
• Oversee tax planning, prepare VAT and income‑tax schedules for KSA, UAE and France.
• Support budgeting and forecasting, delivering financial insights for strategic decisions.
• Mentor junior accountants and report to the Financial Controller.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Preferred CMA or similar professional certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ODOO ERP system.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office.
