About the role
The Category Manager – Non‑Food will drive sales optimisation for a defined product group across our retail network. You will manage vendor relationships, pricing, marketing and inventory to maximise category performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement long‑term strategies for the non‑food category in line with the annual business plan.
- Manage brand and exclusive product portfolios, including selection, positioning and promotional planning.
- Collaborate with Marketing to launch new products at the right time and place.
- Negotiate contracts, payment terms, rebates and promotional support with suppliers.
- Conduct market research, monitor competitor activity and perform regular category reviews.
- Analyse sales data, vendor P&L and inventory metrics to drive corrective actions.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience in category management, merchandising or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
