Camp and Community Services Officer – Nahr El Bared

About the role

UNRWA is seeking a Camp and Community Services Officer to be based in Nahr El Bared, Lebanon. The position is open exclusively to current UNRWA staff and contributes to the agency’s mission of supporting Palestine refugees through camp infrastructure and community services.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Chief Area Officer (CAO) and support the CAO A20 portfolio.
• Supervise a team of General Service staff or equivalent area personnel.
• Oversee the delivery and maintenance of camp and community services within the Nahr El Bared camp.
• Coordinate with other UNRWA units to ensure alignment with humanitarian standards and programme objectives.

Required profile

• Current UNRWA employee (internal posting).
• Experience working in camp or community service environments is preferred.
• Ability to manage staff and collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams.
