Business Domain Solutions Architect – Operations Domain

About the role

Murex is seeking a senior architect to lead the Operations business domain, encompassing critical post‑trade and operational functions such as collateral management, settlements, reconciliation and One‑Stop Processing. This role combines business domain, system and SBI architecture responsibilities, making it a strategic position within the company.

Key responsibilities

• Own the target architecture and roadmap for the Operations domain, driving evolution of collateral, settlement, reconciliation and processing capabilities.
• Translate strategic business challenges into scalable platform solutions and ensure architectural consistency across products and services.
• Define and maintain business solution blueprints and domain architecture documentation.
• Define and communicate SBI‑level architecture, aligning epics, features and implementation roadmaps with business and platform objectives.
• Lead architectural trade‑offs, investment decisions, sequencing and dependency management across agile trains.
• Collaborate with domain owners, product managers, development teams and platform architects to ensure coherent delivery and long‑term sustainability.
• Guide agile trains in delivering solutions that adhere to architecture principles, standards and runway investments.
• Identify, document and address architecturally significant requirements, manage technical debt and validate solution designs through governance processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a business domain or solutions architect in post‑trade, collateral management, settlements or reconciliation functions.
• Proven ability to define and drive architectural vision for large‑scale finance platforms.
• Strong track record of influencing product strategy and coordinating multiple development organizations.
• Excellent communication skills to partner with business, product and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile environments and leading cross‑functional architecture initiatives.
