Branch Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the daily operations of a Sleep Comfort retail location, driving sales performance while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence. This role reports to the Retail Operations Manager/General Manager and is pivotal in achieving both financial and service targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and develop strategies to boost profitability.
• Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, maintain a clean and professional environment, and control operational expenses.
• Supervise, motivate, and develop staff; conduct performance reviews, schedule staffing, and support recruitment and training.
• Manage inventory accuracy, coordinate stock replenishment, conduct regular counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle cash, daily financial transactions, and review sales and performance reports.
• Prepare and submit regular sales, operational, and market‑feedback reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of retail operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in furniture, home décor, mattresses or similar retail sectors is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
