Backend Developer – Python

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer with strong Python expertise to join a fast‑growing financial services company. You will work closely with product owners, architects and other engineers to deliver high‑quality, secure and scalable backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to design and implement new features and products.
• Develop solutions that meet defined business requirements and write clear technical specifications.
• Present implementations to senior leadership, including CTOs and team leads.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Guarantee that software complies with quality, security, modifiability and extensibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews, identify anti‑patterns and suggest refactoring.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing Python applications.
• Strong attention to detail and a technical mindset.
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles and SDLC processes.
• Experience with service‑oriented architecture, microservices and containerised deployments.
