About the role
Our client in Lebanon is seeking an Audit Manager with banking experience. The role involves overseeing and coordinating audit activities across the organization to ensure robust risk management and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain audit procedures that reflect best practices and address specific risk areas.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential financial losses due to fraud or asset mismanagement.
- Review financial records, statements, and other documents to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and projections to support future business planning.
- Coordinate with external parties such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, lenders, investors, and regulators.
Required profile
- Strong finance‑based analytical skills.
- Minimum 10 years of external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
- CPA and CIA certifications are a major plus.
