Audit Associate

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Audit Associate to join our dynamic audit team. The role involves supporting audit engagements from planning through to completion while ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution, and finalisation of audit engagements in line with auditing standards.
• Perform fieldwork, including testing of financial‑statement line items, internal controls and substantive procedures.
• Gather, evaluate and document audit evidence.
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to senior team members and managers.
• Prepare clear, concise and well‑organised audit documentation and workpapers.
• Support the preparation of financial statements according to applicable frameworks.
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to firm policies, audit methodology and professional standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in external audit or accounting.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and effective time‑management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
• Residence in Beirut or Metn preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
