Assistant Audit Manager

About the role

RSM Lebanon, a professional tax, audit and legal advisory firm founded in 1965 and part of the RSM International network, is hiring an Assistant Audit Manager. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sinn Al Fil, responsible for leading and supervising audit engagements and supporting the audit process.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise audit engagements, review financial statements and supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Plan audit assignments, coordinate audit teams, perform risk assessments and identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business, communicate audit findings clearly and support the preparation of audit reports and management letters.
• Contribute to staff development through coaching, on-the-job training and performance feedback.
• Work with senior management to improve audit methodologies and service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in external audit, including supervising or managing audit teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Effective communication in English and Arabic; French is an asset.
• High level of integrity, professional judgment and commitment to quality and client service.
