AI/ML Engineer – Real-time NLP & RAG Specialist

About the role

VML is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to lead the design, training, and optimisation of AI models focused on real‑time content summarisation, recommendation and conversational user interfaces. The role sits within a fast‑moving technology team and works closely with backend and data engineering colleagues to deliver brand‑consistent AI outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, train and optimise AI models for real‑time content summarisation and recommendation.
• Implement advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to enhance conversational UI and predictive interactions.
• Apply Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) for intelligent response generation from dynamic content sources.
• Fine‑tune transformer‑based models such as BERT and T5 using domain‑specific datasets.
• Collaborate with backend and data engineering teams to streamline model deployment in production environments.
• Maintain brand tone and content accuracy across all AI‑generated outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering.
