Accountant – Financial Operations

About the role

Home Deco & Co SARL is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage daily financial operations and support the finance team in a fast‑moving construction and fit‑out environment. The role involves maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and ensuring timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliation.
• Prepare and record journal entries and support month‑end closing activities.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to verify cash balances.
• Monitor invoices, payments, and supplier statements to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain proper filing and accounting documentation.
• Coordinate with management on financial updates and reporting.
• Assist with VAT and other tax‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with Orange Accounting Software and PIMS system (strong advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of VAT procedures.
