About the role
We are looking for a skilled, customer‑focused Software Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for our restaurant and retail point‑of‑sale (POS) system. You will help users resolve issues, guide them through system functionality, and ensure a smooth experience that supports their business operations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver technical support via phone, email and in‑person.
- Diagnose and resolve software problems related to the POS system.
- Assist customers with system setup, configuration and user management.
- Guide users through POS functionality and troubleshoot related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Contribute to support documentation and knowledge‑base articles.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software or technical support, preferably with restaurant or retail POS systems.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate clearly.
Required skills
- POS software and hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
- Cloud‑based POS solutions and third‑party integrations.
- Network infrastructure fundamentals and troubleshooting principles.
