Senior Accountant

About the role

Amaken is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a leading poultry manufacturing company in Roumieh. You will lead the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Reconcile accounts and verify the accuracy of general ledger entries.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support external and internal audits.
• Prepare NSSF, VAT, and Income Tax declarations accurately and on time.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Record financial transactions in the accounting system with precision.
• Uphold company policies and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
