Part-Time Senior Accountant & Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a part-time Senior Accountant and Finance Manager to join our on-site team in Mkalles. You will strengthen our financial operations, turning raw data into actionable insights that support inventory, margin and growth decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping, bank, cash and payment‑gateway reconciliations, and supplier statements.
• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets and quarterly cash‑flow statements.
• Support year‑end closing, including journal entries, statement of changes in equity, notes to financials and coordination with auditors.
• Develop budgeting and forecasting models for projected P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Conduct monthly variance and ratio analysis and present financial performance reviews.
• Track inventory and cost of goods to inform purchasing decisions and margin optimization.

Required profile

• Proven accounting or finance experience, preferably in e‑commerce, retail or product‑based businesses.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations and inventory accounting.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• High level of ownership, discretion and attention to detail.
