Mechanical Assembly Technician

About the role

Technica International is looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join its factory team. The position involves assembling mechanical equipment, conveyors and pneumatic circuits in a fast‑paced industrial automation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble conveyors, machinery and other mechanical equipment according to assembly drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret mechanical, assembly and pneumatic drawings.
• Install and assemble components such as geared motors, chains, bearings and pneumatic parts.
• Use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
• Ensure all assemblies meet Technica’s quality and safety standards.
• Identify and report any assembly issues, missing parts or non‑conformities.
• Collaborate with other divisions and departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Required profile

• Motivated and detail‑oriented technician who enjoys hands‑on work.
• Take pride in building high‑quality equipment.
• Eager to grow within a dynamic industrial automation setting.
• Technical mechanical degree (BT, TS, LT) or strong experience in the industrial field.

Required skills

• Reading mechanical, assembly and pneumatic drawings.
• AutoCAD knowledge.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments.
• Assembly of conveyors, machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Installation of geared motors, chains, bearings and pneumatic components.
