About the role
We are looking for a highly experienced Production Manager to lead our full‑scale bakery and pastry operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous innovation across all product lines.
Key responsibilities
- Lead daily bakery and pastry production, guaranteeing smooth workflow and on‑time delivery.
- Maintain high standards of product quality, consistency, and hygiene in line with food‑safety regulations.
- Manage, train, and motivate production staff to meet performance targets.
- Monitor raw‑material inventories, supplies, and equipment to optimise costs and minimise waste.
- Implement best‑practice processes, streamline operations and introduce new technologies.
- Collaborate with R&D and chefs to develop innovative products and expand the range.
- Control production budgets while maximising efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and food‑industry regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in bakery or pastry production management.
- Proven leadership ability to manage diverse teams and foster collaboration.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to address operational challenges quickly.
- Excellent organisational, planning and multitasking capabilities.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of bakery and pastry production techniques.
- Experience with bakery and pastry machinery and equipment.
- Ability to implement process‑improvement initiatives.
