Mathematics Teacher (SABIS Curriculum)

About the role

The school seeks a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to deliver the SABIS® curriculum, support student achievement, and uphold the SABIS® teaching philosophy. The role involves classroom instruction, assessment, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach mathematics classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain a conducive classroom environment.
• Proctor exams and ensure proper test conditions.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Perform additional duties such as student testing, substitute teaching, organizing lunches and transport, and other administrative tasks.
• Participate in student life activities in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Commitment to continuous learning and delivering results.
• Excellent communication skills.
