Consultant for Developing National Safe Internet Guidebook (Jordan)

About the role

ESCWA is seeking an experienced consultant to develop a comprehensive National Safe Internet Guidebook for Jordan. The consultant will produce an Arabic-language report of at least 30 pages, including an executive summary, tables, figures, and proper references.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a 30‑plus page guidebook in Arabic, formatted in MS‑Word (.docx) with an automatically updated table of contents.
• Include a 2‑4 page executive summary, list of tables and figures, and full citations for all sources.
• Submit all deliverables electronically to the designated focal point.
• Ensure the final draft is thoroughly reviewed for plagiarism and that quoted material does not exceed 20% of the total pages.
• Provide scanned copies of the first page of all reference materials used.

Required profile

• Proven experience in drafting policy‑oriented reports or guidebooks, preferably in the ICT or internet‑safety sector.
• Strong research and analytical skills with attention to citation standards.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word (docx format) for document preparation.
