Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and assets at Four Points by Sheraton Le Verdun. You will patrol the property, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to emergencies and incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR as needed.
• Assist guests and staff during emergencies, defuse disturbances, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, shift summaries, and investigation documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and loss‑prevention records.
• Collaborate with emergency services, report vehicle accidents/thefts, and follow proper code responses.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted (75 lb with assistance).
• Physical stamina to move quickly, run, or jog when required.
• Clear, professional communication skills and a clean, professional appearance.
• Commitment to confidentiality, company policies, and safety training.
• Capability to read and verify information in various formats.
