Junior Recruitment Officer (Student Admissions)

About the role

The Junior Recruitment Officer supports the student recruitment process at the university, ensuring prospective students receive a smooth and positive experience from initial contact through enrolment. The role combines administrative duties with direct communication to help convert leads into enrolled students.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the university positively to new applicants and guests at forums, fairs, and campus events.
• Answer prospective students' questions about admission requirements, procedures, deadlines, and academic programmes via phone, WhatsApp, and in‑person.
• Collect and manage leads, coordinate with Admissions and Data Entry teams for conversion.
• Assist applicants in completing USEK application forms and process incoming applications.
• Prepare orientation materials, including PowerPoint presentations, and support event logistics such as campus tours and open‑door sessions.
• Collaborate with academic departments, student support offices, and other university units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, sourcing, or student orientation.
• Strong oral communication in English; proficiency in French is required.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage time effectively, and demonstrate high emotional intelligence.
