Head of Base / Programme Manager (South Lebanon)

About the role
INTERSOS is seeking a senior professional to lead its base and programme portfolio in South Lebanon and Nabatiyeh governorates. The role combines overall base management with strategic oversight of multiple humanitarian projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the programme portfolio and ensure delivery of protection, shelter, WASH and education interventions.
- Oversee financial administration, budgeting and reporting for all projects at the base.
- Supervise Project Managers, Protection Manager, WASH & Shelter Manager and support department officers (HR, Logistics, Finance, MEAL).
- Contribute to identification of funding opportunities, project design and proposal development.
- Represent INTERSOS in regional coordination mechanisms and with external partners.
- Ensure compliance with INTERSOS policies and achieve project objectives and results.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing humanitarian programmes in Lebanon or similar contexts.
- Strong leadership and coordination abilities to guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to handle financial administration and reporting for multi‑project portfolios.
- Experience working with protection, WASH, shelter and education sectors.
