Emergency Program Coordinator – South Lebanon

About the role
The Emergency Program Coordinator will lead the rapid implementation of short‑term humanitarian projects in South Lebanon, ensuring that displaced families and hard‑to‑reach communities receive essential WASH, shelter, food security and cash assistance. The role reports to the Programme team and works closely with the MEAL department to guarantee quality and donor compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full and quality delivery of emergency distributions, cash‑based interventions and related activities in the South.
- Develop and implement MEAL plans for all emergency projects, including those in the North.
- Supervise a small, multidisciplinary programme team and coordinate with the MEAL department.
- Maintain regular communication with donors, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to funding requirements.
- Manage logistics, staff performance and field operations to meet tight timelines.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong programme and project‑cycle management experience.
- Proven staff management and team‑leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of SI MEAL practices and standards; experience in food‑security and livelihoods (FSL) is desirable.
- Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, work autonomously and communicate effectively.
