About the role
The Finance Officer will ensure robust financial and accounting systems for the country office, handling day‑to‑day transactions, cash management, payroll, and reporting. This role supports program teams by maintaining accurate financial records and complying with donor regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, manage cash, banking, payroll, inventory, receivables and payables.
- Implement and monitor financial policies, internal controls, and donor compliance.
- Process invoices, purchase requisitions, and ensure proper approvals and coding.
- Prepare and review monthly pipelines, variance analysis, and budget amendments.
- Support audit preparation, provide schedules, and implement audit recommendations.
- Produce internal and external financial reports, including donor and government submissions.
Required profile
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Experience in finance and accounting within an international or donor‑funded environment.
- Familiarity with financial policies, budgeting, and grant management.

- TM1 financial planning system
