Business Excellence Lead – Damascus, Syria

About the role

The Business Excellence Lead will drive enterprise‑wide digital transformation and business‑process excellence across the organisation. Based in Damascus, the role focuses on converting manual, fragmented operations into fully digitised, automated, data‑driven workflows that enhance efficiency, governance and performance visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute digital transformation roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead large‑scale Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives to create integrated, automated operating models.
• Design and implement workflow automation solutions using BPMS, RPA and low‑code/no‑code platforms.
• Establish enterprise process standards, governance frameworks and operational best practices.
• Define digitally enabled KPIs, SLAs and OLAs embedded within automated workflows.
• Develop real‑time dashboards and performance‑reporting frameworks for operational transparency.
• Monitor process performance, optimise efficiency and support data‑driven decision making.
• Lead change‑management activities to ensure successful digital adoption across departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in Business Excellence, Digital Transformation or Process Automation.
• Proven leadership of large‑scale digital transformation and automation programmes.
• Experience in telecom, infrastructure, utilities, real‑estate or large‑enterprise environments is preferred.
