Area Manager – Entry Level (Tennessee)

About the role

Amazon is looking for recent or upcoming graduates to join its Operations network as an Area Manager in Tennessee. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in a fulfillment, sort or delivery center where you will lead a team of hourly associates in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor, motivate and supervise 50‑100 Amazon Associates.
• Ensure safety, quality, attendance and performance standards are met.
• Oversee truck deliveries, sort packages and operate pallet jacks or PIT equipment where applicable.
• Work independently on shifts up to 12 hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 lb, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching and climbing stairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Legal work authorization in the United States (no sponsorship).
• Willingness to work flexible shift patterns and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and navigate a warehouse environment safely.
