AI Engineer/Researcher – ABM & LLM Integration

About the role

This consultancy focuses on researching, developing, and validating an integrated Agent‑Based Modeling (ABM) and Large Language Model (LLM) framework to support evidence‑based, AI‑enhanced policy analysis for the Arab region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a calibrated, rule‑based ABM model and document its policy simulation capabilities.
• Conduct a systematic literature review on the state of the art in ABM‑LLM integration.
• Design and implement an ABM‑LLM architecture where LLMs act both as tools and autonomous agents.
• Benchmark the integrated framework against alternative LLM‑based decision‑support approaches.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Social Science, or a related field.
• Strong research background in agent‑based modeling, machine learning, or natural language processing.
• Experience publishing or presenting research on AI‑driven policy analysis.
