AI Developer – Backend Engineer

About the role

Aspire Software is seeking an AI Developer to join its Lebanon team. You will work on backend services that power AI‑enhanced products, using modern development tools to accelerate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases.
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code that scales.
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and on‑call rotations as needed.

Required profile

• Strong programming skills in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
• Experience designing and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Familiarity with version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable using AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
