About the role
ALFA is seeking an Accounting Specialist 2 to join its remote finance team. In this fast‑paced position you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, support payroll processing, and provide actionable insights to management while upholding the company’s values of integrity, innovation, unity, and humility.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit‑card transactions, and other financial data.
- Process payroll, including tax calculations and deductions.
- Generate financial analyses and recommendations for management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a junior accounting role.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Fluent written and verbal communication in English and French.
