Warehouse Officer

About the role

The ICRC is recruiting a Warehouse Officer in Zahle to handle and store goods in the warehouse in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The officer also supervises and organizes the work of daily workers when needed. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Lebanon.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming goods against the delivery note and report any issues.
• Coordinate stock replenishment with the Zahle warehouse and check with the Beirut medical planner on medical items, and liaise with the Beirut procurement team for direct receptions.
• Ensure goods are properly stored, picked, packed and loaded, and report non-conformities to the logistician in charge.
• Pick and pack according to Supply Chain KPIs, weigh and tally goods during loading and unloading, and generate waybills and packing lists.
• Keep stored goods properly labelled (expiry dates, batch numbers, manufacturer) and recorded, and take part in inventory counts.
• Update bin cards and stock cards during inventory transactions, and support the Supply Chain Coordinator and Logistician in monthly and year-end counts.
• Keep the facility's equipment and materials neat and clean, and carry out daily checks of the premises.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in storekeeping.
• Team management experience is an asset; vocational training in administration or logistics or equivalent experience is desired.
• Native Arabic and full professional working English.

What we offer

• Salary of 1,624 to 2,372 USD per month, with annual review and a 13th month paid in December.
• Transportation allowance of 15 USD per day.
• 20 paid calendar working days of annual leave.
• Full health insurance covering in-patients and out-patients, with an IRSP retirement plan.
• Fixed-term contract of 1 year, renewable based on performance and need; Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with an estimated start date of January 2027.
