Warehouse Controller

About the role

The Warehouse Controller oversees and manages warehouse operations so that inventory is handled efficiently and accurately. The role covers monitoring stock levels, coordinating inventory movements and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive shipments on the loading docks and control every order before loading
• Control outbound orders and transfers from the Malt Gallery (cage)
• Handle returned and damaged goods and reconcile them against point-of-sale and receipt records
• Process employee orders and issue manual orders for warehouse staff on the spot
• Check that large orders and deliveries are packed correctly before loading
• Take part in warehouse inventory counts and in preparing orders, including using a small forklift when needed
• Help with order preparation during staff shortages or stressful periods
• Report discrepancies to the invoicing team or supervisor and report abuses to the warehouse manager
• Carry out regular stock audits and reconciliations to keep inventory accurate

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within FMCG and distribution
• High school graduate
• English is a must
• Energetic, proactive, cautious and detail-oriented
