Waiter – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

The Waiter will serve food and beverages to guests in a hotel outlet, delivering courteous, professional and efficient service in line with Kempinski’s standards. The role aims to encourage sales, maximize guest satisfaction and uphold the hotel’s DNA values.

Key responsibilities

• Report to duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform, polished shoes and nametag according to hotel dress code.
• Provide courteous, professional and efficient service at all times, ensuring guest enquiries are handled promptly.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items, upsell and suggest alternatives.
• Monitor supplies, equipment, reduce spoilage and waste, and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, handle POS system operations, and assist with inventories.
• Report guest complaints immediately to supervisors and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Adhere to hotel policies on fire safety, hygiene, health and safety, and attend all staff meetings and trainings.

Required profile

• Lebanese nationality with education in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Excellent oral and written skills in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Passionate about food & beverage, people‑oriented, team player and able to work under pressure.
• Analytical thinker, flexible, reliable and tolerant with an entrepreneurial mindset.
