Technology Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technology Manager to lead and strengthen the technology function across our growing group of businesses. This senior leadership role will oversee the technical team, ensure strong project execution, and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technology department across HNZ Holding and its subsidiaries.
• Manage Technical Team Leads, developers, QA resources, and interns.
• Define technical priorities, roadmaps, timelines, and allocate resources.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of projects and product releases that meet business needs.
• Oversee web, mobile, backend, APIs, databases, integrations, and system architecture.
• Review technical approaches, enforce coding standards, security, scalability, and best practices.
• Monitor project execution, intervene on delays, blockers, or risks.
• Establish structured development, testing, deployment, documentation, and release processes.
• Coordinate with senior management and business stakeholders on priorities and progress.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend new technologies, tools, and infrastructure.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance evaluation of technology staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or technology roles, with hands‑on full‑stack experience.
• Minimum 2 years leading technical or engineering teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and resources simultaneously.
• Strong project management, leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
