Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a senior Tax Specialist for our Lebanese entities. The role combines deep technical tax knowledge with strong business judgment, acting as the internal expert on Lebanese taxation, VAT, and social security matters.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end tax compliance, including corporate income tax, salary tax, property tax, and annual returns.
• Manage VAT compliance, periodic declarations, reconciliations, import VAT, refunds and credits.
• Oversee NSSF/social security compliance, contributions, reconciliations and registrations.
• Lead preparation and coordination of tax and NSSF audits, acting as primary contact with authorities.
• Provide advisory support on tax implications of contracts, transactions and new business activities.
• Monitor legislative changes and translate them into actionable business steps.
• Calculate, record and reconcile tax and social security provisions, accruals and liabilities.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Lebanese taxation and social security, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of Lebanese tax legislation (corporate tax, VAT, salary tax, withholding tax).
• Proven experience managing tax and NSSF audits and dealing with the Ministry of Finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s or CPA/LACPA is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
