Strategy Manager / Senior Manager - Real Estate, Lebanon

About the role

EY Parthenon's real estate practice supports sovereign wealth funds and leading developers in the region with their evolving business strategy throughout the real estate lifecycle. The firm is looking for real estate professionals with relevant experience (corporate finance, strategy, development, architecture, urban planning) to join its team, ideally with experience across one or more stages of the real estate development lifecycle and deep expertise in residential, retail, hospitality or commercial real estate.

Key responsibilities

• Translate client needs into project tasks and deliverables and work closely with Real Estate, Hospitality and Tourism clients to develop and execute their strategic agendas.
• Work on strategy-related projects across the real estate lifecycle, including long-term strategy roadmaps, feasibility studies, concept ideation and development, highest-and-best-use analysis, destination strategy, tourism product development, growth and market entry strategies, valuation, transactions, due diligence, business transformation and greenfield projects.
• Develop the vision, concepts and business plans for major regional developments and advise clients on feasibilities, transactions, operator search and selection.
• Work with management on parts of the acquisition process and regularly undertake valuations for strategic priorities.
• Counsel and coach junior team members, ensure quality deliverables and maintain healthy client engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a top-ranking school with outstanding academic performance.
• At least 8 years of experience in strategy-related work, preferably in Real Estate Consulting, Private Equity or Real Estate Development.
• Experience in commercial real estate, hospitality or tourism with a focus on strategy development, acquisition, due diligence, real estate valuation, loan underwriting, asset management, finance or market research.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel within the MENA region when necessary.

• Effective organization and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• CFA/CAIA/RICS qualification preferred.
