Social Media Executive

About the role

WonderEight is seeking a Social Media Executive to join its dynamic social media team. You will work closely with the Social Media Manager and cross‑functional colleagues to develop and execute engaging social strategies for a variety of client brands.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing social media strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Produce and curate content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
• Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools.
• Monitor brand mentions, comments and inquiries, responding promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop visual assets, including graphics and videos.
• Track and analyse performance metrics, providing insights for optimisation.
• Support paid social campaigns, handling targeting, budgeting and performance reporting.
• Conduct social listening and competitor analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in social media management or content creation, preferably within an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends and best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
• Experience using social media management tools.
• Experience with analytics tools for measuring social performance.
