Social Media & Communications Intern

About the role

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media & Communications Intern to support our digital campaigns and enhance engagement across our social platforms. You will help shape our online presence, build community, and ensure our messaging reaches the right audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and schedule engaging content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and other platforms.
• Support execution of digital campaigns and outreach initiatives.
• Monitor social media trends and propose fresh, relevant content ideas.
• Track engagement metrics and prepare performance reports.
• Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster community.
• Coordinate cross‑posting with partners to amplify campaign reach.
• Maintain a content calendar aligned with campaign timelines.
• Create basic visuals or liaise with the design team for graphics.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and best practices.
• Excellent written communication skills in English (and Arabic if needed).
• Creative mindset with ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• Organized, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Express) is a plus.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics) is a plus.
