Senior Procurement Engineer – Construction

About the role

The Senior Procurement Engineer will lead the end‑to‑end procurement process for construction materials, equipment and services on ICC Contractors' projects. This full‑time, on‑site position in Beirut ensures that all purchases are cost‑effective, timely and aligned with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for a wide range of construction items.
• Evaluate suppliers, analyse bids and negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Coordinate purchase orders with internal project teams and external vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management and finance to align purchasing activities with project schedules and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Several years of procurement experience in construction or engineering environments, preferably in Africa.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, standards and contract terms.
• Understanding of basic project management principles.
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement software and MS Office tools.
• High attention to detail and commitment to ethical procurement practices.
