Lead Architect

About the role

The Lead Architect is responsible for guiding the architectural design of medium to high‑complexity projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, regulatory standards, and aesthetic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client discussions to define design criteria, budgets, and preferences.
• Coordinate concept design teams and refine options into schematic and detailed designs.
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, and environmental specialists to integrate multidisciplinary requirements.
• Work with stakeholders on value engineering and with Project Managers to review and validate design deliverables.
• Conduct detailed design reviews, issue checking reports, and support quality‑control processes.
• Assist Project Managers in work‑program planning, progress reporting, and managing scope, schedule, or budget changes.
• Provide design support during the supervision stage, responding to RFIs and resolving conflicts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Over 8 years of professional architectural design experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and exposure to global best practices.
• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑centric mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic.
