Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, build and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS, driving automation, security and scalability. You will work closely with engineering teams and clients to deliver high‑quality solutions in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated deployments.
• Build and manage AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda and related components.
• Apply DevSecOps and MLOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provision and scale environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Architect authentication and authorization using AWS Cognito, OAuth and Single Sign‑On.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise dynamic infrastructures.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams and clients to define requirements and propose solutions.
• Provide professional guidance and stakeholder management, including challenging proposals when needed.
• Lead greenfield projects and startup‑style initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience, with deep AWS expertise.
• Proven experience in startup, consultancy or greenfield environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to push back professionally.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Availability to work from 9 AM to 6 PM.
• Remote work for Egyptian applicants; hybrid work for Lebanese applicants.
