Senior Compliance Officer

About the role

MOL, a Lebanese fintech building a secure digital wallet for everyday payments, is hiring a Senior Compliance Officer on site in Beirut. The role helps keep the platform safe, compliant and trusted by overseeing AML/CFT, sanctions and KYC processes and liaising with regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with BDL regulations and applicable laws
• Oversee AML/CFT, sanctions and KYC processes
• Review and enhance policies, procedures and controls
• Conduct compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting
• Liaise with regulators, the MLRO and internal stakeholders
• Support risk assessments, investigations, training and awareness

Required profile

• CAMS certification (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) is required
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business or a related field
• 3-5 years of compliance experience; fintech, e-money or banking preferred

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions and KYC/CDD
• Understanding of BDL circulars and Lebanese regulatory requirements
• Analytical mindset and independent judgment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
