Assistant Audit Manager - Path to Partnership

About the role

Mansour Audit Firm pcc, which offers accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services, is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager in Beirut, Lebanon. The role is full-time and on-site, supporting the planning, execution and completion of audit engagements for clients across various industries. The firm is open to candidates with prior audit experience who are looking for a path to partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial statements and evaluate internal controls
• Perform detailed audit testing and document findings in line with professional standards
• Supervise and coach junior audit staff
• Coordinate with clients to obtain the information needed for audits
• Assist in preparing audit reports and management letters

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; LACPA certification is an advantage
• Proven experience in financial audits, including planning, fieldwork and reporting
• Previous experience in external audit, preferably in a professional services or audit firm
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage several engagements and deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting and finance and application of accounting standards
• Experience with financial statement preparation, review and analysis
• Proficiency in office and accounting software
• Familiarity with audit tools and data analysis techniques is beneficial
