Senior Accountant

About the role

AccountantPresentail is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to oversee daily financial activities across multiple entities and markets. You will work closely with management, operations, suppliers and external accountants to ensure accurate recording, reconciliation and reporting of all transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accounting entries for sales, purchases, expenses, payments and other financial transactions.
• Review supplier invoices, credit notes and statements; manage accounts payable and monitor outstanding balances.
• Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, payment gateways, cash accounts and sales channels (Stripe, bank transfers, retail, delivery platforms).
• Assist with sales reconciliation from Presentail’s website, retail locations and platforms such as Toters, Deliveroo, Careem and Talabat.
• Prepare monthly financial reports including profit & loss, balance sheet, cash‑flow and expense summaries.
• Support inventory accounting, cost of goods sold calculations, supplier cost tracking and stock valuation.
• Monitor receivables, follow up on overdue payments and process supplier payments.
• Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, contracts and payment confirmations.
• Assist with VAT calculations, tax documentation and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and government authorities as needed.
• Support accounting activities for entities in Lebanon, the UAE, Cyprus and other markets.
• Help with payroll records, employee payments and related documentation.
• Identify discrepancies, duplicate transactions or unusual activity and propose improvements to procedures and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.
• Ability to work with multiple currencies and entities.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Odoo, Wafeq or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
